ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The foundation is designed to pool resources of public, commercial and non-profit sectors of Berezovsky municipality to render more efficient the resolution of socially important issues and to improve people’s quality of life.
Until 2010, provision of assistance to orphaned children and families raising severely ill children, as well as volunteering development in Berezovsky municipality, were among the core activities of the WEAL Foundation.
Starting from 2010, the Foundation has been operating according to a community foundation model. The primary objective of such foundation is to raise funds and allocate them competitively to support social initiatives of public interest.
